There are 2 x direct trains from London Kings Cross to Aviemore (around 20min drive from Muckrach) as well as connecting services from across the UK via Edinburgh & Glasgow

There are a limited number of direct flights from London / Bristol / Amsterdam (BA / Easyjet & KLM) as well as some options to connect / arrive at Inverness Airport which is around 45min drive from Muckrach - however there are not lots of flights in / out - so it is worth considering Aberdeen which is 1hr 30 min drive.

Also viable would be a flight to Edinburgh or Glasgow, followed by a train to Aviemore, or Inverness if you need to then hire a car.

You can drive here pretty easily via the east or west routes. Take it easy and enjoy the views!

* Electric cars - possible but not so easy to find charging points.
